no, i am saved from guilt; i have a Saviour that loves me so much he bore the weight of it all for me. "for you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God" and "since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God" (col. 3). why does she make me feel like it's all my fault? even the fact that i think it's my fault is my fault.
Here I am a sinner
Broken and in need of You
Take my life and wash my fears away
For You are the Great I AM
Rest assured, I feel Your hand
Holding me until the darkness clears.
:(
It is possible to come before the Word of God and not listen:
My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put them into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain.
(Ezekiel 33:31)
righteous are you, O Lord,
and your laws are right
they are fully trustworthy.
give me understanding
that i may live.
patience is a fruit of the Spirit
and grace is the lifeline of His gospel.
praying for patience and grace because i am wicked wicked wicked on my own.
i am damaged at best,
like you've already figured out
"so that in everything He might have the supremacy..."
Job 37
5 God's voice thunders in marvelous ways;
he does great things beyond our understanding.
6 He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,'
and to the rain shower, 'Be a mighty downpour.'
7 So that all men he has made may know his work,
he stops every man from his labor.
J. Christ, you are my sanity and clarity....
It is for freedom that
Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be
burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1)
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, "Abba! Father!" (Romans 8:15)
In my anguish I cried to the LORD, and he answered by setting me free. (Psalm 118:5)
